Michael Millspaugh
President I/O Concepts

Michael is a mathematics graduate of UCLA, and began his career in the computer business in 1963. He has worked as a programmer and math analyst at System Development Corporation, General Electric, Computer Applications, and The Boeing Company. Active in real-time systems and systems programming, he has been a consultant to AEC, Bonneville Power Administration, and the Boeing Company on a variety of Control Data Systems, DEC equipment, SEL computers, and custom real-time applications, including SCADA systems. Michael designed the I/O Concepts hardware products and authored the associated firmware. He is the founder of the company, the current President, and CEO.


Bill Bohnenberger
Vice President I/O Concepts

Bill graduated from Purdue University with an Electrical Engineering degree. He began his career with Litton Data Systems as a real time programmer for naval command and control systems. He subsequently joined Computer Science Corporation, Systems Division, consulting at the Navy Electronics Lab in San Diego, including work on the Navy's CMS-2 programming language. He also worked in CSC's Commercial Division on large-scale databases for the banking and manufacturing industries. In 1981, Bill joined Michel Millspaugh on a number of mainframe connectivity projects. Their shared vision led to the formation of I/O Concepts. Bill wrote the original software for our X-Direct server and emulator products, designed and implemented the X-Direct and WinDirect GoScript scripting language, and is the main architect for I/O Concepts's prducts.


Virgil Paul Presta
Director of Sales and Marketing

Virgil is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He has over 20 years experience in the field of computers, working as a Software/System Engineer, and Sales Manager. During his carrer, Virgil has been involved in major projects throughout the Northwest, including Washington State University, Hanford Nuclear Plant, the City of Spokane, the City of Portland, and the Boeing Company. He has brought his knowledge and expertise to a number of regions around the world including China, Canada, the South Pacific, South America, as well as the U.S. Virgil joined I/O Concepts as the Director of Sales and Marketing in 1990.


Dan Boughner
Director of WinDirect Development

Dan joined I/O Concepts at the beginning of 1996 to direct the new Win-Direct product development for Windows 95/NT. He has spent many years as a Software Engineer, working in development of small mainframe Operating Systems, before specializing in 3270 emulation and SNA. Dan has also worked on such diverse products as automated assembly line systems (Robotics), key encryption for interbank money transfers, EPA environmental monitoring devices, IBM channel extenders, 5250 and 3270 terminals, network operating system license servers, and more. He has developed and managed products for such notable hardware and software vendors as AT&T, Data General, Digital Equipment Corporation, UB Networks, UNISYS, and Wang Laboratories. Dan is a Math and Computer Science graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.
